While many thoughtful Christians have chimed in on the death of the adversarial, yet admirable, Hitchens, a few have managed to position themselves in the attack position post-mortem. This hideous and heinously ignorant article regurgitates the lamest points Hitchens has easily defeated throughout his career. Had Thomas taken the time to actually read his books or witness his speeches or interviews (which are freely available online or on YouTube in the form of “Hitchslaps”), he’d realize he’s been refuted several times over. 

While it seems the majority of the world’s religions have largely accepted secular law’s insistence that their beliefs are not protected from the harshest criticisms, one religion’s adherents are not content to allow anything but a status which stifles such speech. A UN resolution, backed by Hillary and Obama, threatens to equivocate blasphemy against Islam with hate speech; meanwhile, anti-Semitic cartoons are present in mainstream Arabic press. Coyne exposes the double-standard in this article.
